Grade 3 Kanji Practice Sheets

About these worksheets

Third-year kanji move from the concrete to the social: school subjects, trades, feelings and the vocabulary of living in a town — 橋 (bridge), 銀 (silver), practice 練 (train), 感 (feeling). This is where compounds take over from single-character words, and where readings start to multiply.

How to use them

Each row builds the character up one stroke at a time one after another, then gives a grey stencil to trace and blank squares to write it from memory.
