JLPT N1 Kanji Practice Sheets

About these worksheets

JLPT N1 is the advanced level and by far the largest set — about 1,200 kanji, the rest of the jōyō list plus characters common in names and specialised texts. It mixes newspaper staples such as 氏 (family name), 統 (overall) and 第 (No.) with rare literary ones. Select the characters you are studying and print a personalised stroke-order worksheet rather than working through all of them at once.

How to use them

1. Pick the kanji you want in the set above — or click Select all.
2. Click “Print / Save as PDF” to generate your sheet.
3. Print the sheet and practice yourself, or hand copies to your students in class.

Each row builds the character up one stroke at a time, then gives a grey stencil to trace and blank squares to write it from memory.
