Looks like そう/よう

A judgement from appearance: い-adj drop い + そう, verb-stem + そう.

今にも　雨が　降りそうです。

いまにも　あめが　ふりそうです。

It looks like it's about to rain any moment.

い-adjectives drop い (おいしい→おいしそう), な-adjectives drop な (元気→元気そう), verbs use the ます-stem (降ります→降りそう). It reports an impression from what you see.

Irregular: いい→よさそう, ない→なさそう. This そう (appearance) is different from the hearsay そう in lesson 47.

V-てきますてきます — go do and come back / begin

て-form

Go, do something, and come back (買ってきます), or a change that begins (寒くなってきました).

ちょっと　飲み物を　買ってきます。

ちょっと　のみものを　かってきます。

I'll go buy some drinks (and come back).

て + きます can mean going to do something and returning, or a gradual change coming toward the present (だんだん暖かくなってきました). The opposite movement is 〜ていきます.
