Summer Voyage to the Sea
A school trip in summer: the boat heads south, black birds fly above, yellow flowers bloom by the sea and a strong wind blows. A boy writes down memories — he doesn't want to forget.
夏休みの ある 週、私たちの 学校は、南の 海まで 船で 行きました。これは 高校の 一年生の たびです。朝、空は 青くて、強い 風が ふいて いました。船の 上から、黒い 鳥が たくさん 見えました。先生は、「あの 鳥は 海の 魚を 食べるんだよ」と 教えて くれました。南の 海の 辺は とても あつくて、黄色い 花が さいて いました。「夏は こんな ばしょが きれいだなあ」と 友だちが 言いました。私は 紙に この たびの 思い出を 書きました。理由は 一つ だけ — 大切な 時間を わすれたく ないからです。夕方、船の 中で 食事を 食べながら、海を 見ました。月の 光が 海に 映って、とても 強く きれいでした。「次の 夏休みも、また 来たい」と 思いました。
