Frequency

毎日 (every day), よく (often), ときどき (sometimes) say how often. あまり / ぜんぜん mean “not much / not at all” and need a negative verb.

わたしは ときどき としょかんへ 行きます。

わたしは ときどき としょかんへ いきます。

I sometimes go to the library.

わたしは ぜんぜん テレビを 見ません

わたしは ぜんぜん テレビを みません。

I don't watch TV at all.

たけしさんは あまり 勉強しません

たけしさんは あまり べんきょうしません。

Takeshi doesn't study much.

Place the adverb after the topic and before the verb. 毎日・よく・ときどき go with a normal (affirmative) verb.

あまり (not much) and ぜんぜん (not at all) “anticipate” a negative — the sentence must end in ません / 〜ない.
