お V(stem) に なります / special verbs尊敬語 — honorific verbs
Honorific 尊敬語Raise the listener/subject's action: お＋stem＋になります, or special verbs.
社長は もう お帰りに なりました。
しゃちょうは もう おかえりに なりました。
The president has already gone home.
Honorific patterns: お＋ます-stem＋になります (お書きに なります), or the passive form used as honorific (帰られます). Many verbs have special honorific words.
Special: いる/行く/来る→いらっしゃいます, 食べる/飲む→召し上がります, 見る→ご覧に なります, 言う→おっしゃいます, する→なさいます.
